Ars Gratis Artis is my personal space for drawing, painting, and visual exploration outside of commissioned work—a practice guided by instinct rather than outcome.

While my relationship with image-making became more defined during the early months of the pandemic, the impulse to draw has been present in different forms for as long as I can remember. This space, however, is intentionally unstructured—free from briefs, systems, or external expectations. It is here that I return to direct observation, rhythm, and material presence. Often accompanied by light, music, and silence, the process becomes less about intention and more about release—an intuitive way of thinking through form rather than explaining it.

In moments of stillness, I am often reminded of the Zen concept of ensō: when the mind is not held too tightly, form emerges on its own. These works are not conclusions, but traces of attention.
